Marie Virginia "Ginny" (Cutrona) Steccato

March 26, 1938 ~ June 9, 2020 (age 82)


Marie Virginia “Ginny” Steccato (nee Cutrona), age 82, of Toms River, went home to be with God on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, she lived in Lodi, NJ prior to Toms River where she resided since 2006. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a sales representative for Stern Brothers Department Store, Paramus, NJ. Ginny had a passion for knitting and enjoyed all arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family, taking trips to Atlantic City, and was General Hospital's #1 fan.

Ginny is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Antoinette (nee Garrone) Cutrona, her husband, Anthony Steccato in 2010, and her sister Geraldine Cutrona.

She is survived by her four daughters Virginia Marie Untisz and her husband Michael of Howell, Joanne Papa and her husband Joseph of Manahawkin, Diana Serafini and her husband Louis of Cedar Grove, and Antoinette (Tonie) Steccato of Manahawkin, NJ, her brother, Salvatore Cutrona and his wife Alicia, her grandchildren, Sergio DelRosso and his wife Jessica, Tamara and Jude Pallone, Jackie Untisz and her fiancée Jonathan, Jessica, Julianne and Justin Papa, Joseph and his fiancée Meagan, Jennifer and her fiancée Steve, and Maria Serafini, Jillian and Dylan Utkewicz, as well as her great grandchildren, Giada Marie and Derek DelRosso. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all.

All services will be private. Ginny will be laid to rest with her husband at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
