Grace Spano

Grace N. Spano, age 94, of Manahawkin passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center of Manahawkin, NJ.

Born in Philadelphia, PA., she lived in Passaic Park, NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 2012. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a supervisor for Pfizer Inc., Clifton, NJ where she was employed for 24 years. She was a member of the Pine Shores Art Association, the Mill Creek Art Group, and the Garden Club at Mill Creek Clubhouse. She enjoyed reading, gardening and having company. She also enjoyed playing piano and crossword puzzles.

Grace is predeceased by her husband, Michael in 2008, and her two sisters, Frances Cavasina, and Barbara Sablich.

She is survived by her three sons; John Spano & his wife Diane, Michael Spano, and Robert Spano & his wife Darlene, her daughter, Dawn Michele Bryan & her husband Tom, her six grandchildren; Nicholas, Jillian, Eric, Nicole, Thomas & Brielle, her great grandchild, Autumn, and her two nephews, Michael and Guy.

Visiting hours will be Friday, May 21, 2021, from 10am until her blessing service, 12pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Entombment will be private. Due to Covid 19 guidelines, the funeral home is operating at restricted capacity. Please note that face masks and social distancing are required at all times for all in attendance of all services.
