Dolores Dolan

Dolores (Dee) B Dolan 84 of Manahawkin, passed away on Saturday January 21,2023 with her family by her side.

Born in Philadelphia, Dee lived in Philadelphia prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 1970. She was a Bus Driver for the Barnegat school System before retiring.

Dee is predeceased by her parents Joseph McGettigan and Catherine Mc Gettigan (nee Murray), husband, Joseph M Dolan Sr, brother, Joseph McGettigan, sister, Kathleen (Kate) Lowry
She is survived by her sisters Eleanor Gregory and Mary Regina O’Donnell. Son, Joseph M. Dolan Jr. and wife Kathy Price, her three daughters; Cynthia Rojtas and husband Steve, Colleen Dolan and husband Bill Hillermeier and Christina Dolan and boyfriend Thomas Carlock, her five grandchildren; Bryan Rojtas, Nicole Marsula, Angela Finelli, Daniel Rojtas, and Kaitlyn Musto and her great grandchildren; Drew and Neil Marsula , Elliot and Max Rojtas, Cayden and Ellie Rojtas, and Serafina and Silas Finelli and her dog Chloe. We will forever be grateful for her friend and caregiver, Davia Keise who she called her brown daughter. Davia took care of her for 3 1/2 years and gave us more time with our mom.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 5pm to 9pm and prior to Mass on Thursday, January 26, from 9:45am to 10:40am at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ  08050.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, January 26, 11am, at St. Mary of the Pines Church, Manahawkin. Burial of her remains will be held privately at a later date.
