William Oakley

William J. Oakley, 66 of Barnegat, NJ passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.

Born in New York, NY, he resided in Woodridge, NJ, prior to Barnegat where he resided for the last 2 years. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a conduit inspector for Verizon, Jersey City, NJ. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam war in the U.S. Army. Bill loved the gym and the New York Jets.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret (nee Martin) Oakley.

He is survived by his wife Denise Oakley (nee Doherty), his son William J. Oakley Jr. and his wife Jamie, his brother Michael Oakley, his sister Margaret Bellanich, and many nieces and nephews.  He will be sadly missed by all.
