Vivian Hargrove

Vivian Naomi Hargrove (nee Cramer), age 86, of Manahawkin, NJ, formerly of Palm Bay, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

Born and raised in Cedar Run, NJ she lived in Palm Bay, FL for 26 years before returning to Manahawkin where she has resided since November of 2017.  Vivian was a Telephone Operator for New Jersey Bell, Manahawkin. She was a life member and former president of the Stafford Township P.T.A., a former member of the Southern Regional school board, past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Women’s Auxiliary #4249, Palm Bay, FL, and treasurer of the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary #4206, Melbourne, FL.

She is predeceased by her brothers; David, Charles and Stanley Cramer and her sister Evelyn Higbee

Vivian is survived by her husband Harold Hargrove Sr., her two sons; Harold Hargrove Jr., and Scott Hargrove, her two daughters; Stephanie Nadeau and Julie Schmidt, her brother Wayne Cramer of AZ., her ten grandchildren, and her fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 2pm to 5pm with her funeral service beginning at 4:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Cremation will be private.
