Sylvia Ann Warren

Sylvia A. Warren (nee Morey), age 82, of Barnegat NJ, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Born in Barnegat, NJ, she was a life-time resident of Barnegat. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Genuardi’s Family Market, Barnegat as a food court manager. She also worked many years in the food service industry including the Claridge Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City, NJ. She loved to cook for her family and entertain. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  

She is predeceased by her parents, Harold Ardin Morey and Mary Ridgway Morey, her husband, Walter J. Warren Jr. in 2020, her sisters, Virginia Stafford, Lois Cartwright, and Marge Daelke, her brother, William Haddon, and her brother-in-law, John F. Warren.  

Sylvia is survived by her son, Walter J. Warren III and his wife Wendy, her daughter, Crystal Allegar and her husband Gary, her sister Jane Zisa, her sister-in-law, Virginia Warren, her four grandchildren; Ryan Mee & his wife Bridgeen, Melissa Allegar, Dana Warren, and David J. Warren and his wife Gianna, and her six great-grandchildren; Logan, Conor, and Brenna Mee, Hudson Mangina, William Walter Warren and Aubrey Warren.  

Visiting hours will be Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A graveside service will follow at Barnegat Memorial Cemetery, Barnegat, NJ.
