Susan Brito

Susan K. Brito (née Speziale), 63, of Manahawkin, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Newark prior to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 38 years. Prior to her retirement, Susan worked as a Cafeteria Manager for Southern Regional Middle School, Manahawkin. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Joseph “Joe the Barber” Brito in 2001.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in law; Joseph & Dawn Brito and Anthony & Heather Brito, her brother and sister-in-law Anthony & Kim Speziale, her niece and nephew Kristina & Anthony Speziale, her grandchildren; Joseph, Giavanna, Michael & Giuliana Brito and her canine companion “Ginger”.

Susan very much enjoyed her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She never knew the word “no” when asked for something. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

At the convenience of the family, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, 11am St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
