Shirley Johns (nee Cook), 93 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Born in Long Branch, NJ she lived in Barnegat 23 years prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 2003. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all.

Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Gladys Pope Cook, her husband, LeRoy Johns in 2016, and her many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her two sons; LeRoy Johns and his wife Patti and James Johns, her six daughters; Sharon Bokor, Kathy Buck, Linda Johns, Shirley Johns Jackowski, Vickie Vignali and Darlene Cramer, her two sisters; Betty Thorn and Joyce Angerio, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 9am until her funeral service, 12 noon at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Interment will follow at West Creek Cemetery, West Creek.
