Ruth Barrese

Ruth K. Barrese (nee McIntyre), age 89, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 with her family by her side.

She was born in Guttenberg, NJ she lived in Manahawkin from 1975 until 2 years ago, when she moved to Jackson, NJ. Ruth was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Pines Church, and a member of the Fawn Lakes Women’s Club, Manahawkin.

She is predeceased by her husband Dominick J. Barrese and her daughter Camille McKenna.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Donna Puhalski of Cream Ridge, her sister Muriel Fletcher of CA., her four grandchildren; Kathleen McKenna of Manahawkin, Bridget McKenna of Neptune, Daniel Puhalski of Bellaire, MD., and Jesse Puhalski of Levittown, PA., her eight great grandchildren; Aiden, Morgan, Kevin, Dominic, Hunter, Tipton, Fox and Domenico.

Visiting hours will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 10am to 12pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  A Mass of Christian Burial follow, 12:30pm at St. Mary’s of the Pines Church, Manahawkin. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
