Phyllis L. Hansen (nee Lamson), 86, died on Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was born in Mayetta, NJ and was a graduate of Tuckerton High School. Upon her graduation, she was employed by the First National Bank of Barnegat. Upon her marriage to Otto Hansen, she resided in Surf City where she managed summer rental apartments as a family business. She also worked as a sales clerk for Ship Bottom stores and Reynolds Clothing Store in Manahawkin.

She enjoyed sewing, making many Barbie clothes which were sold at the Surf City Fire Company Auxiliary Bazaars. Painting and playing the piano were her other passions. She also spent many happy hours on the beach and enjoyed ice skating in the winter months. She loved her family and enjoyed hosting and attending many family gatherings with her growing family.

Phyllis is predeceased by her parents; Leo and Hannah Lamson, sisters; Leona Holloway and Ethel Moran, her husband Otto Hansen, daughter Lisa DeGenova Weisbaum and grandson Bud Kulpecz.

She is survived by her two daughters; Linda Errico (Bob) and Lori Kulpecz (Alex), son-in-law Cary Weisbaum, six grandchildren; Chris Errico (Jeannine), Joanna Errico, Andrew Kulpecz (Geralin), Emily Wutz (Stephen), Sarah D. Ackerman (Kendal), and Hannah DeGenova (Jeremy Reich), as well as six great grandchildren; Micah, Ethan and Elijah Kulpecz and Natalie, Madeleine and William Wutz.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016, 5pm at Grace Calvary Church, 19th St. and Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom, NJ, with a reception to follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Grace Calvary Church - Missions Fund.
