Peter Hauge

Peter N. Hauge, 82, of Manahawkin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Howell and Jackson prior to Manahawkin where he resided since 1998.  He was a graduate of Wagner College where he received his Master’s Degree in Education. He worked as a Public Health Educator for the State of New Jersey prior to his retirement. Peter was a member of the Manahawkin Baptist Church. He was also a master gardener and bee keeper.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Ellen (Fitch) Hauge, his three sons; David and his wife Barbara, Jeff and his wife Tammy and Jonathan and his wife Janet, his brother John and his wife Susan and his five grandchildren; Alexander, Olivia, Micah, Katie and Timothy.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017, 10:30am, at Manahawkin Baptist Church, 400 Beach Ave., Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
