Norma Jean Giancone

Norma Jean Giancone (nee Birchall), age 93, of Barnegat, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Born May 25, 1931 in Camden, NJ, she lived in Howell, NJ from 1966 to 1988, Manahawkin, NJ from 1988 to 2000 prior to Barnegat where she resided since 2000. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, NJ as a Stenographer. She was a member of the Ocean Community Church, Manahawkin.

Norma is predeceased by her parents, James W. and Sybella (Byzby) Birchall, her husband Salvatore J. Giancone, and her sister, Dorothy Lange.

She is survived by her son Paul Giancone & his wife Tammy, her two daughters, Dotty Gallagher and Bonnie McCaffrey & her husband Michael, her six grandchildren and her eleven great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm with a service at 3:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.Cremation will be private.
