Nicholas Totorello

TOTORELLO, Nicholas “Nick” Nicky”, age 49, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Nick was a graduate of Southern Regional High School in 1987.  He was an accomplished and dependable electrician by trade and a long time employee of MJ Pirchio Electrical Contractors.  Nick’s greatest accomplishment in life was that of being a man lead by his pure heart.  As a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Nick was the guy who came when you needed him; even before asking.  Nick was the guy to open his arms for a hug and say “I love you” first in a goodbye. Nick was the guy who took the time to plan and write a tender note in a thoughtfully selected birthday card.  Nick was the guy who each and every one of his friends described as their “brother”.  Nick loved music, playing the guitar, vintage cars, fishing and helping others.  He was a simple, selfless man who believed in God and had a great respect for the military and his country. Nick was eternally devoted to his family, giving the utmost to care and support them in good times and bad.

Nick is survived by his parents, Nicholas Totorello, Jr. and Irene Zimmermann, Sister, Heather DiDomenico and her husband Thomas, and 2 adoring nieces, Sofia and Lily, Aunt, Louise Zimmermann and Cousins, Dana, Jose and Isabella Rodrigues as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life followed by a brief, meaningful memorial service will be held beginning at 3 pm on Tuesday, July 31st, at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home located at 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ. 08050.  The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends and family during such a difficult time.
