Naomi "Claire" Mundt

Naomi “Claire” Mundt (nee Corliss), age 86, of Waretown, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at home.

Claire was born June 28, 1936, in Waretown, NJ and was a life-time resident. She also lived in Tuckerton for a short period of time before moving back to Waretown. She graduated from Barnegat High School and Ocean County Vocational School. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Nurse in the OB Dept for 28 years at Community Medical Center, Toms River where she was loved and remembered for her kindness and sense of humor by staff and patients alike. Claire was a Christian and followed her faith. Claire was a member of Waretown Methodist Church for over 50 years and affiliated with Lord of Lords Bible Community Church. Above all she loved her family and was a loving Nana and Nanny.

She is predeceased by her parents, LeRoy and Ruth (Letts) Corliss, her first husband, Charles Nelson Cramer Jr., her son, Charles Nelson Cramer III, her granddaughter, Heidi Janeen Cranmer, her infant sister, Verna Marie Corliss, and her three brothers; Vernon, Larry & Bob Corliss.

Claire is survived by her husband, Charles Mundt, four daughters; Bonnie Cranmer and her husband Kenny, Donna Mundt, Dawn Mundt and Denise Wycoff and her husband Bill, her sister, Emma Caufield, her brother, Bill Corliss and his wife Chris, sister in law Cheryl Corliss, cousin Evie Brown, her nine grandchildren; Jennie Cranmer & Warren ,Lindsay Cranmer and Neal, Melanie, Michael, Aaron, Allison, Ashleigh, Bina & Kavita; her fifteen great grandchildren; Taylor, Hunter, Allanah, Bayleigh, Kenny, Maude, Lola, Matthew, Leo, Ronan, Brenna, Kinsley, Charlee, William & Eva, her two great-great grandchildren; Heidi Jo Lee, and Breyson Thomas, god daughter Patti Caufield Burns as well as many loving nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm with a Time of Remembrance, 2:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ, 08050.
