Mary A. Crowley (nee Buzzi), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025. Mary was born on October 15, 1931, in Staten Island, NY to the late Joseph and Aurelia (nee Tolomie) Buzzi.

In her younger years prior to her marriage, Mary worked at Weeden & Company in New York City and Chicago, a part of her life that she was very proud of and loved talking about. She married Frank J. Crowley on October 20, 1956, lived for a short time in Chicago, and then moved back to Staten Island where they had their two children. In 1963 they moved to Glen Rock, NJ where they lived for 25 years before retiring to Long Beach Island. In her earlier years, Mary was active in gardening and belonged to gardening clubs and involved in fund raising activities on Long Beach Island. She loved the Adirondacks and staying at her cabin in Minerva, NY.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Aurelia Tolomie Buzzi, her husband, Frank J. Crowley in 2016, her step-father Frank Dinger, and her brother Joseph Buzzi.

She is survived by her daughter Virginia B. Hals and husband David, her son, Frank Crowley and his significant other of more than 15 years, Amanda Green, her sister Nancy Dinger Romano, her brother Frank Dinger and his wife Sandra, her four grandchildren; Laura A. Hals Phillips and husband Jimmy, Madeline C. Hals Older and her husband Daniel, Christopher R. Hals, and Madison M. Crowley, her three great grandchildren; Delaney and Henley Phillips and Cooper Older, and her many nieces and nephews.
