It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark Bailey, age 72. He passed away on September 2, 2026, at Hackensack Hospital, NJ after many health challenges.
Mark was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He was loved by many and respected by all. Mark touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. Mark is leaving a void that can never be filled.
Mark had a great sense of humor and loved telling stories about his family members, they meant the world to him. Mark was the only boy with 3 sisters. (Colleen, Jeanne, Patricia) He may not have kept in touch with every one of them but he thought about them daily. He loved Jeopardy and every night he would call Colleen & Dan to see if they got the Final jeopardy answer. This was a nightly thing and they all looked forward to it each night.
Mark had a group of friends (John, Ken, and Tom) that were not only his friends but family to him. They all loved horse racing and the Kentucky Derby was like Christmas Day for them all. There was never a day that would go by without Mark mentioning or talking about his friends. Marks love for baseball and his favorite team the Orioles was the only other thing that compared to the Kentucky Derby.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Drury and Jeanne as well as his sister Jeanne. He is survived by his beloved wife Patty, daughter Ashley, his sisters Colleen and Patricia. He also was survived by his loving in laws, Bob, Margie, Joe, Yaping, John, Nancy, Steve, Debbie and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Mark's legacy of laughter, loyalty and love will be carried on by those who knew and adored him.
