Loretta DelleCave (née Androlini) September 16, 1945 — June 13, 2026

Loretta DelleCave, 80, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, passed away on June 13, 2026.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Androlini. She built her life around the thing she loved most — her family — and for most of that life her work was her home and the people in it.

Loretta was the glue of her family. She was the one who hosted, the one everyone called, the first person you wanted to see and the one you most wanted to talk to. Christmas Eve was hers. She insisted on hosting it every year, gathering everyone she loved under one roof, exactly the way she liked it.

What people will remember most is how she made them feel. No matter what you were going through, a conversation with Loretta left you better than she found you. She had a way of making everything feel a little more manageable, a little brighter, just by being there for you.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Steve; her children, Anthony (and his wife, Dina) and Grace; her grandchildren, James (and his fiancée, Liz), Steven, Sofia, and John; her sister, Maureen (and her husband, Philip), and their children, Nicole (and her husband, Samuel) and Philip; and by the many family members and friends who counted her among the most important people in their lives.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am on Saturday, June 27 at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 283 Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ.
