Lily Veleska Kolmos (nee Schaub), age 97, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2017.

Born in West Hoboken, NJ she lived in West New York, North Bergen, Cliffside Park, Toms River and, most recently, Manahawkin. Lily worked as a Nursing Assistant for Dr. Ron Cangiano, Podiatrist, Cliffside Park, NJ prior to her retirement. She was the President of the West New York Little League Auxiliary and enjoyed coaching softball. She was an avid bowler for many years and loved the Yankees and the Giants. She also loved to travel and was a member the Clark AARP.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Kolmos, her parents Gustav and May Schaub, and her brothers Warren, Raymond, Richard and Gustav Schaub.

Lily is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph and Mae Kolmos, John and Susan Kolmos, her daughter and son-in-law; Lynne and Dominick Lepore, her sister Edith Liquori, her seven grandchildren; Christine, Michael, Jeffrey, Karen, Kevin, Jared and Jesse and her ten great grandchildren; Brandon, Jordyn, Ryan, Jake, Mikayla, Jadyn, Emmalyn, Aria, Maya and Addison.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 11:30am at St. Mary’s of the Pines Church, Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be private.
