Kelly Branscomb

Kelly Lynn Branscomb (nee Hogan), 48, passed away on April 23, 2017 after a long battle with breast cancer. Kelly was born on May 25,1968 in Toms River, NJ, the daughter of Veronica Constantino (deceased 2005) and Walter Hogan, currently of Bryant, AR.

Of Tlingit descent, Kelly was born into a military family and lived in many states throughout her childhood, settling in southern New Jersey in her teens.

Kelly was a professional banker who began her career as a part-time teller with graduated promotions to her most recent position as the East Coast Learning Process Manager for Wells Fargo. She loved her job and took great pride in her work. Kelly was an avid reader who loved music and history. Her love for travel took her to places such as the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Alaska but Kelly's favorite past time was spending a quiet evening on the beach with a good book.

The most important things in Kelly’s life were her family and friends.  Time and again she was ready to offer support, a kind word, a listening ear, selflessly putting others before herself.

Kelly is survived by her husband of over 20 years, John Branscomb, her daughter Lauren Caldwell of CA, her stepmother Nita Hogan of Bryant, AR, her sisters and brothers-in-law; Kim & Rob Moberg of MA, Pamela & Dwayne Roberts of NY and Cheryl Hogan. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews; Melissa Allen, Jennifer Branscomb, Buddy Branscomb, Jr., Rachel Moberg, Rebecca Moberg and Elijah Roberts.

A memorial life celebration will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin, NJ. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Kelly’s name to either the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network at www.mbcn.org or the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or we ask that you help save a life in Kelly’s name by donating blood or platelets at your local donation center.
