Karen I. Ross

Karen ‘Kippy’ Ross of Waretown, NJ passed away peacefully September 26, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born and raised of Franklin and Gertrude Pharo in Tuckerton, NJ she moved to Manahawkin, NJ with her husband, Darrol Ross and raised their three children for 25 years. She worked in real estate, was a member of the Manahawkin Baptist Church and served as president of Stafford Township PTA. She then moved to Brick NJ, established a paralegal career and served LePore and Luizzi Law Firm dependably for many years before retiring to Waretown in 2018.

Kippy was known for her soft-spoken kindness with a great sense of humor. She was a bookworm and history buff but also passionate about travel, camping, hiking, biking and quality time with family.

She is survived by her children: Darrol Ross Jr. and his wife Denise, Jeff Ross and his wife Jen, Julie Juliano and her husband Rich, her grandchildren: Madison, Morgan, Mackenzie, Christopher and Hunter, her sister Wendy Mathis, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

An open invitation is extended to celebrate her life on Saturday October 18, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin NJ 08050.
