Joshua W. Hennedy

Joshua Wagih Hennedy, age 28, of Middletown, OH passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025.

Born on February 25, 1997, in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Barnegat, NJ prior to Middletown OH where he resided since 2021. Joshua proudly served his country on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, infantry division, from 2016 to 2020, achieving the rank of Corporal. and then in the Marine Corps reserves following his active-duty service. He was employed by Kroger Supermarket, Cincinnati, OH as a Security Officer. Joshua was a member of the Sharonville and Glendale Fire Departments in Ohio, as well as an EMT. He also was a competitor with Stafford Mixed Martial Arts, Manahawkin, NJ. In the short time Joshua was with us, he accomplished much, making his family extremely proud.

He is survived by his father Wagih and his mother Elizabeth (Naguib) Hennedy, his brother John Hennedy and his sister Mary Hennedy.

A Mass will be held 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, 7 Church Road, Howell, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 283 Beachview Ave., Manahawkin, NJ.
