Joseph Walter Wilkie, age 69, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Born in Passaic and most recently of Manahawkin, NJ, Joseph dedicated his life to hard work, family, and the people he loved. He built a long and respected career as a pipefitter with Local Union 9, where he was admired for his commitment, skill, and unwavering work ethic.

Joseph had a remarkable presence—he could light up any room with his humor, contagious laugh, and genuine warmth. He had a true gift for making others feel welcome and valued. His joys in life were simple yet deeply meaningful: providing for his family, spending time by the ocean where he met the love of his life, and decorating for the holidays in a way that brought magic and joy to everyone around him.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Alice, and his siblings Jimmy, Walter, Andrew, Agnes, and Joann. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Barr and her family; his brother Vincent and his family; his beloved wife, Karen; his daughters, Heather Colianni and her husband Stephen, and Kaitlyn and her husband Killian Meara; and his cherished granddaughter, Fiadh; his son, Joseph Przybysz and his wife Christine. He leaves behind countless memories that will be held close by all who knew and loved him.
