John Grasser

John R. “Richie” Grasser, age 76, of Warren Grove, NJ passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017.

Born in Maywood, NJ, he lived in Ridgefield and Toms River prior to Warren Grove where he resided since 1969. He was a Shop Foreman for Downs Ford, Toms River prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Warren Grove Fire Company, a founding member of the Pine Barron Modelers Club and a member of the Lakehurst Cruisers.

Richie is survived by his wife, Peggy Planer Grasser, his two sons; Billy and Ricky Grasser, his grandson Brandon Grasser, his sister Gail Nawrocki, his mother-in-law Florence Planer, his sister-in-law Carol Poerio & her husband Frank, his brother-in-law Mark Planer as well as his many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 2pm to 4pm with his memorial service beginning at 3pm from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation was held privately.
