Gary Lesnevich

Gary Lesnevich, 73, of Surf City, NJ, passed away on March 27, 2020.

Born in Englewood, NJ, he lived in Montclair, NJ for 30 years and Utah for 8 years prior to Surf City where he resided for the last year and a half. Prior to his retirement, Gary was vice president of operations for Ceres Terminals, Inc., Newark, NJ. He enjoyed boxing, which he learned from his father Gustav, who was the former Light-Heavyweight Champion of the World, and cycling, as well as other sports. He helped to start the Youth Soccer League in Montclair.

He is predeceased by his parents, Gustav G. Lesnevich and Georgiana F. Dobson Lesnevich.

Gary is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Lesnevich (nee Moody), his two sons; Gus and Garrett, , his daughter, Shannon, one brother, two sisters, and his four grandchildren.

Memorial Services will take place at a later date.
