Gary Kostura

Gary M. Kostura, age 67, of Barnegat, NJ passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Raised in Edison, NJ, he lived in Rahway, NJ prior to Barnegat where he resided since 1993. Gary was a police officer for the Rahway Police Department where he served his community for 25 years prior his retirement. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat, NJ and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Annunciation Council #3826 as well as a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club.

He is predeceased by his parents, Michael & Evelyn Kostura and his brother Dennis Kostura.

Gary leaves behind his son, Gary Hanson & his wife Theresa, his sister Lynn Kostura, as well as many friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 2pm to 6pm with a Blessing Service, 5:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  Cremation will be private.
