Francis “Frank” James Dutch - May 13, 1932 – October 24, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Dutch, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 94 in Beach Haven, New Jersey.
Born on May 13, 1932, in Philadelphia, Frank was the beloved husband of Rachael Dutch. Throughout life, he was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to his family.
Frank proudly served in the United States Army for two years as a photo analysis expert. Afterwards he worked in the chemical industry, always advancing and ultimately achieving a leadership position as the strategic planner for Fischer & Porter, a global manufacturer. While supporting a family and working full-time, Frank pursued a college education at night, eventually receiving an MBA from Temple University. He enjoyed writing and woodworking. He always enjoyed sharing copies of his book, Can’t Hobble the Elephant, with family, friends, and acquaintances.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Rachel, her son Corky and family, his children Fritz, Kimberly, and Michael, their spouses, his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Patricia DeLany Dutch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 10AM until his Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008.
Frank will be remembered for his gentle nature and kind smile. He loved deeply and loyally and was a good and honest man. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Saint Francis Community Center in Long Beach Township in Frank’s memory.
