Ernest Andersen Ii

Ernest F. Andersen II, age 52, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Summit, NJ, he lived in Barnegat, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the past year.  Ernest was a dispatcher for The Jayson Company, Union NJ. He enjoyed building and repairing computers, was an avid NY Giants, NY Yankees and NJ Devils fan. He also enjoyed music, especially the Doors. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ernest is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Rose Andersen, and his brother-in-law Mark LaPrete.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet LaPrete Andersen, his two beloved daughters, Emma and Jessica Andersen, his two sisters; Laurie Green & Ann Dreyer and her husband Joe; his father-in-law Sal LaPrete, his three sisters-in-law; Debi LaMantia and her husband Joe & Susan LaPrete & Kathy LaPrete, his brother-in-law, Vincent LaPrete and his wife Monika, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, February 15, 1:30pm at St. Mary of the Pines Church, Bishop Way, Manahawkin. Cremation will be private.
