Edward Moran Jr.

Edward Allen Moran, Jr., age 99, of Marlton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Born in Jersey City NJ, he was raised in West Creek, lived in Neptune, Manahawkin for 28 years, then Waretown for 11 years prior to Marlton where he resided for the last year. He was a Toll Collector for the Garden State Parkway, prior to his retirement. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II during which time, he was stationed on the USS Arkansas and took part in the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He was a life time member of the V.F.W., Neptune.

Edward is predeceased by his first wife, Ethel M. Moran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan G. Moran, his son Edward L. Moran Sr., his daughter Doris E. Dempsey, his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as his three step-children and seven step-grandchildren.

At the convenience of the family, private interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Run, NJ.
