Dorothy Defilippis

Dorothy J. DeFilippis (nee Maffei), age 87 of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in River Vale, NJ prior to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph DeFilippis, her brother Robert Maffei and her grandson Joseph DeFilippis.

She is survived by her loving children; Mark DeFilippis and Elena Colahan & her husband Randy. She is also survived by dear grandchildren; Kathryn & her husband Erik, Elizabeth, Claire & her husband Thomas, Jenna & Julia as well as her cherished great grandchildren; Colin & Ryan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm with a funeral service, 8:30pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Millcreek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation is private.
