Christopher R. Vitale

Christopher R. Vitale, age 48, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away suddenly on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Born November 15, 1977 in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Brooklyn prior to Manahawkin, where he resided for the last 10 years. Chris lived in NJ, but he was always a Brooklyn guy at heart. He was most recently employed by M&T Bank, Forked River, NJ as a Universal Banker, but he spent more than 25 years in the banking industry, where he was always known for his quick wit and ability to make everyone feel like a friend. Chris was an avid sports fan who loved the New York Yankees, the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Giants, and watched them whenever he could. Family time was very important to Chris, and he spent most of his free time enjoying a multitude of different activities with his son Riley and his wife Lisa. The world was a brighter place with Chris in it, and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Chris is survived by his wife Lisa M. Squitieri-Vitale, his son Riley Vitale, his mother Suzanne (nee DiPeri) Vitale, his brother Matthew Vitale & his wife Samantha, his sister Kimberly Molina, his mother-in-law Joan Squitieri and his two nieces, Isabella & Sophia Vitale.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm with a Time of Remembrance, 3:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be private.
