Christine Barattiero

Christine A. Barattiero, age 94, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 with her family by her side.

Born in Pietramala, Italy, she lived in Fruitland Park, Florida prior to Manahawkin where she resided since 2007. Prior to her retirement, Christine was an Accounts Payable Manager for Sykes Roofing, Atlantic City. She was a very active volunteer with the Fruitland Park Sheriff’s Department, where she received recognition awards for her service.

She is predeceased by her parents; Francesco and Ermina Palumbo Barattiero, her two brothers; Frank and Peter Barattiero, and her sister Teresa Shaffer.

Christine is survived by her sister Helen MacKenzie as well as her many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 10am until her Mass of Christian Burial, 11am at St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ 08005. Interment of cremated remains will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 283 Beachview Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
