Catherine Grieco

Catherine Grieco (nee Marino), age 89, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

Born April 11, 1936, in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in the Marion section of Jersey City prior to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 25 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Siperstein's, Jersey City, NJ as a Bookkeeper. Catherine was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Jersey City where she was also a member of the choir. She loved knitting especially with her group of friends, forming an unofficial knitting club.

She is predeceased by her husband, Dominick Grieco and her brother, Michael J. Marino.

Catherine is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Pat Grieco and his wife Donna, her daughter Suzanne Nash and her husband Lorenzo, her four grandchildren; Anthony and his wife Vanessa, Arielle and her husband Matthew, Nicole and her husband Pablo and Alexis, her six great grandchildren; Makayla, Isabella, Zoe, Aurora, Dominick and Archer, and her many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, October 21 at St. Mary of the Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
