Catherine Edwards

Catherine M. Edwards (nee McLean), 89 of Manahawkin, NJ., died on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA., where she lived until moving to Manahawkin in 1998.  She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Pines Church, Manahawkin.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Charles Edwards Sr. (2007).

Catherine is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Chuck & Kathleen, Bill & Kathy and Jim, and her daughters and son-in-law; Mary Catherine, Ann Marie & John, and Beth Ann, her grandchildren; Tracy, Charlie, Tim, Micah, Sara, Nathan, Suzanne, Karin, David, Kelly, Brian, Christine, Jennifer, Brian, Katie, Johnny, Becky, Blair, Chrissy, Brian, Kate, Jeff, Joshua, Dianna, and Jackie and her great grandchildren; Jarred, Karli, Noah, Madison, Camryn, Ryan, Amber, Jordyn, Anika, Nathan, Brody, Mia. Brian, Logan and Olivia.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 8:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Rd., Manahawkin, NJ., 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, 11:00am at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Following mass, interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Manahawkin.

Catherine has requested bright clothing be worn for her funeral.   She also asked for no flowers and requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, 800-822-6344, https://www.stjude.org
