Blanca Ramirez

Blanca L. Ramirez (nee Lopez), age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at home.

Born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, she lived in Carteret, NJ prior to moving to Manahawkin where she resided for the last 15 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress for many years in New York City. She also served as a foster mother for many years.

She is survived by her sons, David Ramirez, and Angel and his two children, her daughter, Evelis Ramirez, her brother, Raphael Cancel and his children, her grandchildren; Elisse Luz Ramirez-Jeffries, Yarixsa Ithier, Zinnia Evelise Ithier, and Frederick Ithier, as well as her 11 great-grandchildren; Annabelle Luz Lauver, Joshua S. Lauver, Ainniz, Abdel, Yoliann, Angeli, Jay, Yahir, Janziel and Thuis.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 11am until her Mass of Christian Burial, 12 noon, at St. Mary of the Pines Church, Manahawkin, NJ.
