Alfonso Rubino

Alfonso D. Rubino, age 83, of Manahawkin passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015.  Born in Hackensack, NJ, he lived in Upper Saddle River prior to Manahawkin where he resided since 1996.

Mr. Rubino was the owner/operator of Ruby Construction Company, Upper Saddle River. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Josephine Melillo Rubino and his brother Daniel Rubino.

Surviving is his loving wife Irma DeRosa Rubino of Manahawkin, his daughters; Kathleen Rubino of Secaucus and Robyn Barrood and her husband Paul of South Brunswick, her son Michael Rubino and his wife Kate of Dumont as well as his grandchildren; Christopher, Daniel, Brianna, David and Matthew.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4pm to 8 pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 10am at St. Francis of Assisi, Brant Beach. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack.
